Recording King ROS-G6 (2018)

Recording King is an American brand with a long history in affordable guitars – and the ROS-G6 is one of their newer models.
As a 12-fret 000, it combines a compact, comfortable design with the typical warm, mid-focused tone that fingerstyle and blues players appreciate in this body size. Despite the shorter neck (12 frets to the body), the ROS-G6 utilizes the full 25.4″ scale length. The result: higher string tension, crisp tone.
The solid headstock with side-mounted tuners makes string changes more straightforward than with a traditional slotted headstock. This 2018 model is in excellent condition.

Materials and Construction

• Top – Sitka Spruce: Balanced, dynamic tone with good projection and responsiveness – particularly crisp and assertive in combination with the high string tension.
• Back & Sides – Mahogany: Warmth and mids prominent – typical dry vintage character
• 000 Body, 12-Fret, Long Scale: The neck joint at the 12th fret combined with the full 25.4″ scale length results in higher string tension than many other 000 models – louder, crisper, more assertive.
• Headstock – Solid with Half-Moon Tuners: a bit more practical than a slotted headstock in everyday use.
