Atkin Hawaiian Master Reserve (new)

The Atkin Hawaiian Master Reserve is a tribute to the golden era of Roy Smeck in the 1930s and 1940s: a large, lightly braced body with a slightly shorter scale length that delivers incredible sound – sweet, dry, and powerful all at once thanks to the Adirondack top. And loud!
This noble 12-fret example has a 24.88-inch (63.2 cm) scale length. In a mid-aged custom finish, with aged tuners and a Madagascar bridge and fingerboard, as well as Adirondack and Honduran rosewood. A wonderful instrument, with a truly grand sound and visually stunning too. Also rare to find, as these woods are not always available even at Atkin.

• Honduran Mahogany: Back and sides for warm, full sound.
• Madagascar Rosewood: Fingerboard and bridge—dense, hard, resonant, and beautifully figured.
• Mid-Aged Nitrocellulose Lacquer: Ultra-thin mid-aged nitro lacquer for optimal vibration transfer and an authentic vintage look.
