The Larrivée P-09 belongs to the somewhat luxurious Artist Series from the Canadian manufacturer Larrivée Guitars and is the high-quality equipped variant within the Parlor line. The P-09 has a high-gloss finish and features flamed maple binding, an abalone mother-of-pearl rosette, and a mother-of-pearl logo with sterling silver inlay on the headstock. The fingerboard and bridge are made of selected African ebony. The in-house JCL-18:1 luxury tuners complete the package. In very good condition for its 20 years, with only minor signs of wear.
Material and Construction
- Top – solid Sitka spruce: good dynamics and response – a proven foundation for the parlor body shape in Larrivée quality,
- Back & Sides – solid Indian Rosewood: deep, creamy bass and sparkling overtones – rosewood gives the guitar more projection and assertiveness than mahogany, while maintaining a warm fundamental tone.
- Fretboard & Bridge – African Ebony: Selected, deep black ebony for precise articulation, comfortable playability and long-term stability.
- Parlor body, 12-fret, short scale 610 mm: Neck joins at the 12th fret, nut width 44.5 mm – comfortable to play
- Workmanship & Details: High-gloss finish, flamed maple binding, abalone rosette, mother-of-pearl headstock logo with sterling silver inlay, JCL-18:1 luxury tuners – handcrafted in North America.
