The Atkin L26 Custom with a medium-aged finish combines a torrefied Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The thermally treated top and pre-war style bracing are standard features, as is the thin nitrocellulose finish with a subtle light relic aging.
The neck is also made of mahogany, while the fretboard and bridge are crafted from Santos rosewood. A walnut headstock veneer, the Atkin and banner decal, and simple aged ivoroid binding complement the vintage appearance. There is no pickguard.
The scale length is 24.9″, and the nut width is 1¾″. The nut and saddle are made of bone. The two-way truss rod can be adjusted through the soundhole. The guitar is delivered in an Atkin hardshell case.
The guitar is now available for pre-order and is expected to arrive at our shop in Hamburg in the coming weeks. If you are interested in a pre-order, please feel free to get in touch.
