The very rare Suzuki WE-120SB is a 12-fret dreadnought made in Japan with a classic sunburst finish. It was built in 1984, the final phase of production before the factory closed in 1987, by the Suzuki Violin Co. in Nagoya. Sonically, it is big, warm, and full, with a dry, warm bass. A perfect 12-fret guitar for vocal accompaniment. A fairly wide 47 mm nut and a chunky vintage neck round out the instrument, making it ideal for fingerpickers and flatpickers alike.
The guitar is in very good vintage condition with signs of use on the top consistent with its age. The action and well-preserved frets allow for comfortable playability. A matching, sturdy hardshell case is included.
Materials and Construction
Very fine aged mahogany and a solid spruce top define this 12-fret neck joint dreadnought: The combination of a large body and a neck-to-body joint at the 12th fret characterizes the construction of this Suzuki.
